In addition to the matching back there is a generous edge for binding or to make this piece into a pillow. As with other wholecloth quilts the blue lines wash out leaving your stitches showcasing the design. Both hand and machine quilters love these small wholecloth quilts because they can practice stitching without worry about piecing or quilting through seams.
